Re-calibration feature doesn't seem to work on our L26500.

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

We have been using the IJ180 profile for printing on 3M IJ 180 C vinyl film. Over time the colors shift, which is not unusual. However, the recalibrate feature in our Onyx RIP, which works in conjunction with the photospectrometer built into the printer, is supposed to return the original color profile. It does not. It returns a different profile, but not the original. Does anyone else have any experience with this problem?

If your printer has a option to print a diagnostic print.  do it & see what color missing, which indicate that printhead is no

good & need to replace.

Then You should first perform printhead alignment on the printer, also perform color calibration. make sure successful.

quickly you would find out the problem origin.

Thanks for the suggestion.  We actually have tried this approach already. We replaced the print heads and ran the diagnostic. None of the inkjets were malfunctioning.

if not work, use syringe & draw out inks one by one till solid... when air inside inktubes & will cause interminttent problems..

Try, nothing to lose...
