aero status

The aero status has been disabled, how do I enable it?

Type 'visual effects' in search field...click 'Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows'...under the Visual Effects tab click 'Let Windows choose what's best for my computer' and make sure that there is a checkmark next to:

  • Enable Aero Peek
  • Enable desktop composition
  • Use visual styles on windows and buttons
