Omen Accelerator not reconnecting after host reboot

Hi, I have noticed that the Omen Accelerator is not recognized by Windows if the Thunderbolt cable was attached when the host computer was restarted.

At that point the only thing that helps is if I disconnect and reconnect the power cable to the Accelerator.


Is this something that could be fixed with a future firmware update on the Accelerator?

I’d love to help, that said, I’ll need few more details to diagnose the issue and provide you an accurate solution.


  • When was the last time it was working fine?
  • What is the model and make of your computer?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?


Meanwhile, I recommend you update the bios and the graphics driver on your computer and check.


If the computer and the accelerator both have the same graphics solution make sure that both have the same graphics driver version installed.
