Trackpad malfunction

HP 15 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been having a persistent problem with my trackpad that updates and adjustments cannot seem to fix. Often when I'm using the track pad it constantly zooms in on whatever screen is on dispay when I don't want it to zoom, making it very difficult to use the trackpad normally.

Any solutions?

Trackpad malfunction

Hi,

This problem can be caused by a touchpad setting called 'Pinch Zoom' - you can disable this as follows.

Open windows Control Panel and in the top right, next to View by: select 'Large Icons'.  From the new layout, select the Synaptics entry.

Remove the checkmark next to Pinch Zoom ( see the image below ), then Click Apply and Ok to save the change.
