Could not find recovery environment

HP Notebook - 15-ac173tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was trying to reset my computer from Settings->Update&Security->Recovery->Reset this pc

and got a pop-up saying "could not find recovery environment" how can i fix this issue

 

I had also tryed to reset using troubleshooting options and there I couldn't find reset option

I grasp that you are trying to reset your notebook, but were unable to locate the recovery options from within Windows.

 

Did you upgrade to Windows 10 from a previous version of Windows, do a clean install of Windows 10 or was it pre-installed when you purchased it.   Did you create your recovery  media?  Here are links that should help you to accomplish this task:
