Disk usage

ak007tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

i am facing 100% disk usage even when the laptop is idle

checked it with the hp hardware diagnostics tool, everything seems fine

and if i update win 10 to the latest it's more issue with it thete, so i had to format it and use an older version.

Disk usage

I would start by following the directions in this thread about removing the Upgrade stuff to see if that helps: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2066-windows-old-folder-delete-windows-10-a.html

Method 1: refer to the link below to troubleshoot some common reasons for Windows freezing.

Windows hangs or freezes

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2681286

Follow all the steps given and check if the issue is resolved.

Method 2: Optimize the hard disk

Optimizing the hard disk usually clears up such issues.

Refer to the link below to learn how to optimize the hard disk.

Improve performance by optimizing your hard drive

Further reference:

Final option : Try to use CCleaner, this program removes unnecessary application/programmes/files from your local drive. You can download it from : https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
