Hi Try the steps 1. My Officejetpro 7740 paper tray 1 works very well with A4 paper. 2. When putting A3 paper into tray 2, I have extended the drawer to accept the paper! 3. The tray then does not push right back in and in fact protrudes approx 3inches. As the reason I bought the printer was that it dealt with A3 AND A4 paper. none of the tutorials cover using A3 for tray 2 and whether or not the protruding drawer is normal.
