I am also much disappointed. I downloaded 163 MB driver file from hp site. But this does not contain driver for p1008, rather it has p1006 driver. Why HP Like world-leader company is harrasing its users so much? -Hariraam

I am also searching for hp laserjet p1008 Driver for windows 7. The 163 MB file downloaded does not have driver fo p1008.
The world leader in printers and IT, HP, is doing so harrassment to user.
While purchasing the printer, the dealer told me than an extra Toner catridge will given free with this printer. Laer he told that you to make online registation and hp will send one catridge. But Even if today after passing about 1.5 years, no additional free toner catrdge is supplied to me.
The toner Catridge of this printers is stated to pring 1800 pages. But very sorry that, only about 800 pages is being printed and catridge toner finished. This a great cheating with the costomers/users.
HP representative must reply and and solve all problems.

HP LaserJet P1008 (P1000) drivers are tiny programs that enable your Printer hardware to communicate with your operating system software. Maintaining updated HP LaserJet P1008 software prevents crashes and maximizes hardware and system performance. Using outdated or corrupt HP LaserJet P1008 drivers can cause system errors, crashes, and cause your computer or hardware to fail. Furthermore, installing the wrong HP drivers can make these problems even worse.
