PPD files for Windows 8

Just purchase a new computer for graphics. OS is win8/64bit. I installed the drivers for 5500PS, it print out awful. I also notice the PPD drivers box was grey out. I try searching on how to install the PPD files for the printer but still unable to find a solution. I try install winsteng.exe from Adobe but does not work? anyone has the same problem?

Re: PPD files for Windows 8

Not sure this will help but might:

When you say it printed awful, what did it do?

When you find the solution, please post it up.  Thx.

Re: PPD files for Windows 8

Hi D Hook1, Awful as in the colour toning..... very hard, no gradient tone. Maybe, must test out others print properties. I mean, like starting all over again. I had this printer for at least 7 years. I believe this is a robust printer and endusers too

Was surprise that some are still using 750C n 755CM.
