Microsoft Windows 11

I had a Voyager legend which I used for many happy years until the batteries died. I decided to replace it with the Voyager 5200 UC, the MIC gave issues just after the warranty expired. As I was very happy with the legend I thought I must have dropped the 5200 or it may have been a factory default, so I replaced it again with a 5200. Less than a year later the second one gave the same problem, this time it was replaced under warranty. Now less that 4 months later and 11 months after my second purchase the replacement is starting to give the same problem. I have upgraded and downgraded between old and new versions of Plantronics Hub and Poly lens software, disabling teams noise reduction (Not a good idea), disabling Dell "Remove My Background noise" ,  resetting sensors, restore defaults for both BT600 and the 5200, firmware are up to date, different version of audio drivers and a lot more. I also see a lot of people having the problem,  with no real solutions!

The question I would like to ask, is there anyone that has been able to resolve this?  Is it the hardware that is just sub standard compared to the Legend or the software issues? Are you aware of this problem and working on a fix for it?

I really love the 5200 when it is working but I cannot go ahead throwing time and money into this.

It seems like you have tried almost all the troubleshooting, and it looks like the headset is faulty. I would request that you contact HP Support to get the headset replaced if it is under warranty, and our support engineers should be able to sort this out.
