Hi All,
I purchased HP G7 440 on 27 Nov 2020. Initially the warranty start date was showing 17 August 2020 on HP Support Assistant app and on the hp support website as well. However, I raised this issue to support and then rectified it to correct warranty start date.
Now, once I login to website on hp support warranty check, I can see the correct warranty start date. However, when I open installed HP Support Assistant application, I only see the old warranty start date. It seems there is no sync between web and installed version. Other details are same but warranty date is different.
Please help.

The best answer we can provide is "Don't look at it".
You know, having checked the Warranty, that the Warranty is updated.
HP Support Assistant is apparently looking at "old data".
Fact is, what HPSA sees is not important in this case.
If you need to submit for Warranty repair, simply do not try to do that from within HP Support Assistant.
What?
The Community doesn't have any control over HP Support Assistant,
What HP Support Assistant does (or does not do) is not covered under standard hardware warranty,
You could try removing the HPSA completely > Restart the computer > Download and install a fresh copy.
Will that work?
Possibly. On the other hand, HPSA might just use the same remote (and apparently not updated) data.
Download, Save, Install the latest supported HP version of the HP Support Assistant
