HP Probook 640 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have bought a HP Probook 640 G8 Notebook Pc from Japan two months .Out of work needs, I uninstalled the Japanese version of the hp system, and then reinstalled the new windows10 system, and then I didn’t know what I did, and then the following red words appeared every time I turn on the Notebook PC :

System is booting in Manufacturing Program Mode :200

Warning: Your system is not fully configured. Please contact HP customeer support.

Warning: This BIOS is Not for Production Use.

Warning: This HP Endpoint Security Controller fimware is Not for Production Use.

Then I found the method in Google to upgrade the BIOS, but the BIOS firmware I downloaded from the official website for the corresponding model failed to upgrade in window10 and failed to upgrade with a U disk. The reason: "BIOS signature verification failed" was prompted and the upgrade failed. How to solve it, and how to solve these lines of red words?

it looks like this system was a pre-production system, or the motherboard was replaced and not configured like it should... Hard to tell how to handle this in China

A while back, I was looking for a way to update BIOS on my three HP laptops (Probook 460 G1 and Elitebooks 840 G3 and 850 G1) and  was eventually able to update BIOS on them with a Recovery USB Flash drive from the Update BIOS via Local Media on F10. One time  I had a BIOS error which was similar to yours and I found that was because  I didn't include the signature file  (.s12 file) which validated the update BIOS.  So my question is: What files did you place on your U drive? did you  put the .s12 file and the HpBIOSUpdate.efi file which was the BIOS update utility? To update BIOS on Probooks and Elitebooks you need these two files as well as an update BIOS file.

if the G8 system is a production unit, like it should, then all you need to do to update the bios from usb key is to unpack the BIOS softpaq and put the bios bin file on the root of the key... then F10 access the BIOS and do an update from local source... that's all it takes
