How to change disk number

HP Recommended
HP ZBook 14 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello guys,

Recently I bought an HP ZBook 14 G2, since i saw it has an M.2 slot i also bought the M.2 SSD, which I installed Windows; so when i go to Task Manager, I noticed the SSD appears as Disk 1 and the HDD on Disk 0.

Is there any way to change the disk order?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

With the older PCs that used SATA cables, you could do this by swapping the data cables connected to the drives.

But, with the new PCs, with the M.2 SATA ports built into the motherboard, there are no cables to swap and I don't believe there is any way to do this -- unless the UEFI setting in the disk management area provide for this -- and I have no access to a PC using UEFI to check this.
