I've had this laptop for about a year no real issues it does what i need it to. After completing a final project, I have for one of my classes I shut the laptop. I quickly realized that the screen isn't matching up to the keyboard and is slightly curving so I open the laptop back up and see a small crack on the bottom left. I look down and notice that the laptop screen isn't connected to the hinge like the other one is (the other hinge has the envy word on it). My warranty expired but this isn't like i threw the laptop and broke it the hinge fell off that has nothing to do with what I did. I'm afraid of closing the laptop because it might do more damage. I get if it broke cause I took bad care of it, but I need this for college I treat it like my most prized possession IMG_5573.jpegIMG_5571.jpegIMG_5562.jpegIMG_5572.jpeg

Hi @colin_22,

Welcome to HP Support Community. This is a great place to post questions and find answers.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP Envy X360 laptop.

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may require repair.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this web link
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.

Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
