I have a HP notebook (Serial Number:[edited]) with 4GB RAM and I would like to extend the RAM and install additional 4GB. I would like to know the details of RAM(i.e., brand, version etc) so that I can buy it and get it installed in my laptop.
Awaiting your response.

Hi Krishna Mohan,
Your notebook supports max 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM (2x8GB)
There are two slots. You can purchase from your preferred brand. So, yes you can add a 4GB module in the empty slot:
Hope it helps,

you can easily get new ram by using virtual random memory .take 8 gb /16gb pen drive.use it as ready boost.if feature not on go to services and use superfetch set as automatic snd run .snd do the above process.upur ram will be boosted by about 5to 20gb .ok

The voltage and speed is here DDR3L 1600MHz (they will all be the same voltage and speed)
I gave you a link above to compatible RAM above:
You can use faster RAM, but it will still run at 1600MHz.
