Spectre x360 Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Battery on my Spectre x360 Convertible bloated. It became so large that it started to separate my laptop to the extent that keys and touchpad didn't work properly.

The HP Service center knew immediately what the issue was, but did never mention that this was a common issue as I've learned on this community.

My Laptop is only 1,5 years and warranty expired. Should I really install the same battery P/N 928427-272 again? (928372-855)

all inputs and support appreciated.

Many thanks

@Per64 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the Spectre x360 Convertible 15t-ch000 bloated batter.

Part number:928372-855

You have to replace the battery.

You could purchase the part from HP, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx

And order it via the HP Parts store: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/CountryChoice.aspx?mscssid=&ccode=ZZ&lcode=ZZ

Or alternatively, Contact HP for setting up an order/service via phone support
