hp probook 650 g4 - sccm driver pack issue

hp probook 650 g4 - sccm driver pack issue

when deploying the latest hp probook 650 g4 driver pack sp91854.exe on win 10 1803 with sccm

we get driver installation failures in the setupact.log

 

(there are many lines before teh following but no errors reported before this point)

we have many models that work fine probook 650 g2, elitebook 840 g3, elitedesk 800g4 etc

 

EDIT: I've narrowed it down to the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framrwork Manager driver included in the driver pack - this driver seems to prompt for a reboot and stuffs the Setup Windows step - This needs fixing HP!
