HP Recommended

Specifically for example, whenever an operator is entered in RPN mode without sufficient prior arguments in the entry line and/or stack, it generates a corresponding error which needs to be cleared prior to resuming; which seems reasonable, however it also leaves the operator name spelled out within the entry line which will most likely also need to be removed prior to proceeding.

I understand the value of leaving the operator name spelled out, as then "help" can be requested in the name; which may be a good enough reason; but its support appears to be inconsistent, as for example neither X^Y nor NTHROOT are so supported, and possibly others.

However it might be nicer, if either upon the presentation of such an error, <Esc> will dismiss the error and remove the mis-entered operator, or <Help> will dismiss the error and present help on the mis-entered operator followed by <Esc> which will remove the mis-entered operator; allowing the user to then proceed immediately in either case.

Maybe this can be improved in an upcoming Firmware release.
