I am trying to find the rs232 command codes for a digtial signage display model LD5511. The display also has a ethernet port and I would also like to know if the display is controlable through ip.

Use the included HP Network Sign Manager software to remotely control all of your networked meeting room displays. Issue commands, set On/Off times, control brightness and most other OSD commands, and lock the power button and OSD controls.

 

So, the display is just a display, and you must use software to "paint" the screen.
