Hello!

I recently bought an HP Pavilion Laptop 15t-cs300 and wanted to install Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS on it. (dual boot with windows 10)

I used a USB installation drive with rufus. I booted it up and installed Ubuntu, however, I cannot access grub.

I installed grub to the windows boot manager partition and when I use efibootmgr I see ubuntu as one of the options.

However, when I reboot the computer to try to access the boot loader, it magically disappears and leaves me only with the windows boot loader. I was wondering if this is a UEFI/BIOS issue. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience installing Ubuntu on this specific or related computer.

Thanks!

Hi

Do you have a Boot Manager in the BIOS?

Was the ubuntu installed as a Secure Boot option and Grub also?
