HP Chromebase 21.5 inch All-in-One Desktop (2S9W0AV)

Today when trying to use my daughters Chromebase all in one for homeschool, it wouldn’t turn on. I purchased this computer for Christmas for her on 12/14/2021. When contacting it says my warranty expired 5 days ago. The warranty started months before I even purchased it? On the warranty page I am not given an option to dispute the information and provide my receipt of order date from Best Buy. I attempted to call and speak to an agent. When it attempts to connect me, it disconnects immediately every time. I am incredibly frustrated with the customer support so far. I try to use a chat feature but have no options due to the warranty saying it is expired. I have troubleshooted the computer already. How do I dispute this warranty issue? I will not purchase an additional warranty when this one should not already be expired. Any help appreciated.

I was contacted and received some packing materials to send my computer out. It still says my warranty is expired despite sending proof of purchase twice. The packing materials I was sent were the size of a laptop and would not even remotely fit the Chromebase. I paid 27 dollars to ship out the computer, even with the return shipping label.
