Very poor customer service

HP Recommended

I called tech support to ask them to replace faulty recovery disks on a computer that was 3 years old and out of warranty.  They told me that there would be a charge to replace the system recovery disks.  I said to them since HP no longer sends recovery disks with the system, and we're only given 1 chance to create 1 set of recovery disks, I would have no idea that the disks didn't work until I actually had to use them, which in this case was 3 years after I purchased the system.

After making 3 calls, each time I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, each time they would not allow me to speak with a supervisor.  Instead I was told that they would call me back within 48 hours.  On the 3rd call I made to tech support, the representative said I would be called within 30 minutes.  NO ONE EVER CALLED!  Each of the 3 calls were routed to India's service center.

I even tried the live chat session with tech support.  Same thing, I was told that some one would call me withing 48 hours.  Again, NO CALLS!

I am extemely dissapointed with the level of service that HP has provided!  It's service, and product quality that makes me want to switch to a McIntosh, or at least a a Dell PC.

I give HP support the grade of an F-
