I am having Paper Feed issues

HP Recommended
Designjet 800 42
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am having 2 issues with paper feed.

1.  When i run a print or test page, the printer will work fine for a short period of time then seem to stutter while feeding the roll forward and start to print again for 1 or 2 lines but then issue a possible paper jam error.  To clear this error i have to turn the printer off and back on but there is no paper jam to clear.

2.  The second issue is when i sent a print the printer will start to feed the paper roll and will not stop until i unplug the machine.  I am unable to turn the printer off with the power button or cancel the job.  This problem happens at random times.

any advice would be beneficial.
