Good afternoon,

I am trying to set the 802.1p CoS on a Polycom VVX410, and it seems that my configuration settings are not taking effect.

User-Agent: PolycomVVX-VVX_410-UA/5.3.0.12074

qos.ethernet.callControl.user_priority 5
qos.ethernet.rtp.user_priority 5

I entered the above in the phone config, despite them being the default values. When I look at the phone configuration file I see these values present.

After the phone has rebooted, I take a capture off my router and I see the following:

Polycom SIP messages are tagged with Priority 0 instead of 5:

802.1Q Virtual LAN, PRI: 0, CFI: 0, ID: 20

However Polycom https messages are tagged with a default value for "other" traffic of 2, which is what I would expect.

802.1Q Virtual LAN, PRI: 2, CFI: 0, ID: 20

Just wondering where I am going wrong with this, I have search the forums and looked through the FAQ, but the CoS doesn't seem to be discussed at length.

Any help is appreciated in advance.

Regards,

Andrei.
