I have the same problem and it is becoming a big issue for me. Is there a solution?

@Sherri99 -- is there a solution?

 

Yes.  There are several:

  1. Mute yourself, except when you want to talk to the other participants.
  2. Decrease the volume coming out from your speakers, so that your microphone picks up less volume.
  3. Use headphones, or ear-buds, rather than your computer's speakers.
  4. Within ZOOM (if that is what you are using), change the settings, to higher levels of "echo-suppression".
