HP 8300 elite small form factor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I have an small form factor HP 8300 elite. My system only detects and uses what audio device was plugged in last. I have a speaker system in which I plug into the rear port. If I plug in a headset or so in the front. The sound will switch to that device. If I unplug everything, my pc will use the onboard speaker. The problem is the my computer cannot detect all of these devices at once. When I go to my trouble shoot sound menu and windows audio task, the computer only detects one audio device, which is the one plugged last. I understand that the computer is supposed to detect all the audio devices plugged in and I should be able to switch between devices on windows. It is inconvenient to have to unplug a device and re-plug it in so that the computer will switch to it. This really has me stumped. Thank you!
