3 low and 4 high beeps after upgrade
12-11-2019 07:45 PM

I updated the windows update today and now my computer beeps 3 lower beeps and 4 higher beeps at startup. This does it 5 times before it starts windows. Windows blows it off as a computer problem with the RAM but 1000's of people have the same problem after doing the update. I was told to update the bios, but using the HP assistant on my computer it says there are no current BIOS updates. What am I supposed to do now?

My current Bios Version and date are: AMI A0.03, 7/20/2015... HP recognizes my HP computer as: HP Pavilion All-in-One - 22-a113w (Touch)
I have updated my bios from the HP site after it recognized what HP products I had on my sytem. They had 3 BIOS updates. I updated the second one:
HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 2B44) A0.10 Rev.A 7.7 MB Jan 7, 2019
This didn't work, and it doesn't change anything in my system information for current Bios Version or date. It remains the same date in 2015. So I then downloaded and updated my Bios to:
HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 2B45) A0.18 Rev.A 8.7 MB Jun 11, 2019
And it still doesn't make any changes in my current BIOS version or date. Is there something that is not working properly, or am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

Follow any on-screen prompts to continue the startup to complete the recovery.HP BIOS Update recovery in progressIf the HP BIOS Update screen does not display, repeat the previous steps but press the Windows key and the V key. If the screen still does not display, your computer might not support the feature or there is a hard drive issue. Continue to the next step to install a BIOS recovery file from the HP website. If the Power light turns off, the Power button was held too long. Repeat the previous steps, making sure to hold the button for only 2 to 3 seconds.

Thanks Lil_Boy_Blue
I did find the download on HP's site... and it updated my bios, but didn't fix the problem. Grrrrr.... I was so excited...Just to be let down again lol.
Microsoft has some serious problems here that need to be fixed, and I don' t know what else to do but to reinstall windows.
