Blue Screen File Error on Boot

HP ENVY 795qd Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone. I just bought a new HP ENVY 795qd Desktop PC. I spent a couple of days getting it set up, transfering files, etc. and was all done, but after a recent reboot, I'm getting the following error. Unfortunately, the PC did not come with installation media. And I cannot seem to find any way to actually contact HP support. The site just keeps sending me back to my Support Dashboard. Any ideas?IMG_20180930_143847.jpg

1.  With your purchase is an HP Warranty, and you should have gotten instructions on how to contact HP. Correct?

2. Did you create a "System Restore" checkpoint after doing all that?  Or, has Windows created one for you? Can you use "System Restore" to roll-back your system to that checkpoint?

3. OK.

4. Correct.  It saves HP a few dollars, by not creating the media, not adding it to the Packing List, and not including it in a shipment.  Instead, Windows has software, e.g., "Reset my PC", and a program to create your own System Recovery Set.

5. Scroll down-and-left, while reading this page, to see the "Contact HP" hyperlink.

6. It should not do that!

Blue Screen File Error on Boot

I didn't create a restor point--just didn't think of it because I had just finished setting it up. I couldn't get Windows to do anything at all, so I created a USB installation media using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10). I was then able to boot from the USB drive, but everything I tried there failed. Eventually found HP's support phone number and called. Given that the computer is brand new, they (and I) are concerned that there could be some sort of hardware problem, so they recommended that I contact customer service and work on getting a replacement. So, I think that's the plan. Really frustrating to deal with this on a brand new computer, but it is what it is.
