HP Recommended
Product: Pavilion Slimline s3720y
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Older HP Pavilian Slimline will not start. Ran the CMOS  Setup Utility and failed. The screen reads , 7 (completed with the Read element of the test failed) it’s a 500 GB he’d. I tried installing windows 10 but it fails and cannot find the drive or drivers. Anybody have an idea what’s happening? Do you think the hard drive is shot. I am unsure if there is a utility to fix this. Also, I cannot install windows if it’s not already running. Thanks for any thoughts

btw the time was incorrect too, I adjusted it, this is the first time I turned on the computer in about 5 years
