Cannot reset bios password with jumpers/battery!

HP Pavilion 500-500 Desktop PC series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

Please help me out. I am trying to change boot order in Bios but dont know the bios password.

I assume it was set from factory when bought machine.

I have tried removing cmos battery several times even over night, moved jumpers etc to clear password but nothing works.  

I have found 6pins states CMOS+Passwrd
The 4pins to the right are connected default and I move to the 4 pins on the left side.

Can someone please help me out.

 

It is an 

HP Pavilion 500-312no Desktop PC

Motherboard Memphis   IPM87-MP 

Any help is highly appreciated!

Hi:

 

See if this works...

 

You only need to move the clear password jumper.

 

I don't know which one it is, but it should be labeled on the motherboard.

 

Shut down and unplug the PC.

 

Move the clear password jumper over one pin (the only way you can).

 

Plug in and turn on the PC.

 

The BIOS P/W should be cleared.

 

Shut down and unplug the PC.

 

Move the clear password jumper back to its default position.

 

Plug in and turn on the PC.
