Hi, sir


I have issue with an computer, that the computer wont start after an hp prompted update restart. After the restart the windows doesnt come up, while the fans are still running. It beeps, and after a few seconds or so it reboot it self.  I went into the EFI and It dont let me access the EFI. I look that its something with the EFI. E remove the computer internal battery (cmos) but without luck. Can you help me fix this issue? Is it an known issue?

Good move removing the MB battery to reset CMOS.


Sounds like a bad BIOS update.


Try the troubleshooting steps at this HP site.


You can download 3-in-1 USB diagnostics here which includes a BIOS Recovery option. But your PC will not POST so this may not work.


You may have to contact HP Support if the first recovery option fails.
