Error 0xc000000d

Pavilion P6 Series 2071uk
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Start computer, immediately goes to error message:
File: \ BCD
Error Code: 0xc000000d
I upgraded from windows 7 when windows 10 became available. So I do not have any discs. I have downloaded Windows 10 onto a USB to see if I can reboot it, but it will not work. At the moment my main priority is to save my files. Please help!! Thank you

Hi

ADJUST SECURE/LEGACY BOOT & BOOT ORDER AS NEEDED.

The BCD error is the boot area for windows, and it may be corrupted. Your W10 USB should look similar to this listing...

If in doubt please ask.

Thank you for your reply. I do have another computer with windows 10 on it and tried to create a USB boot, but it failed, maybe because it was 7.45gb only, looks like I need at least 8 GB. When I start the computer it goes straight to the blue screen, with the error message. How do I add pictures here?? My only thought at this moment is to rescue my files. Thank you
