HP Gen8 G1610T - unable to access/update intelligent provisioning error flashing nvram

Hi HP Support. 

i have been having trouble accessing Intelligent provisioning and B120i.

when i press to access b120i, it goes to a black screen with a cursor, it flashes multiple times and boots straight to windows.


ive decided to try updating intelligent provisioning with the latest firmware and i get an error flashing NVRam 


i have updated the BIOS, updated ILO. i am not using ILo to access intelligent provisioning though. 

  • BIOS - J06 (04/04/2019)
  • iLO 4 - v2.73 (11/02/2020)
  • Intelligent Provisioning - v1.71 (20/02/2019)

could someone please shed some light on this as ive been struggling for days.
