Issue on Boot-up

HP Pavilion 570-p019na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i have had this issue ever since i bought the pc last july and it's not until now that it has begun to annoy me. Basically after a long period of time i switch on the pc and all it show is a black screen for a minute or so, after a minute it eventually does launch into windows but it is extremely laggy e.g i move my mouse from one edge of the screen to the other and there is a long delay, or when i open an application it takes very long to open.

Usually switching the pc off then on does the trick but it's quite annoying, i have switched off App Readiness but i believe it may hardware issues. Specs below:

CPU: AMD A10-9700

Board: HP 82FE

RAM: 8GB DDR4

GPU: AMD R7 Graphics + AMD R5 M435 Graphics

Hi

From the BIOS can you tell us the BOOT SEQUENCE?

Secure/Legacy boot?

Can you run MalwareBytes?

Check that the HP Warranty, which could be one year, still is valid. If so, contact HP to open a claim against the warranty.

Or, at power-on time, press ESC, to show a menu.  Select to launch the HP Hardware Diagnostics, and run the tests against the disk-drive.

Ho

OK, I would endorse the answer given by MDKLASSEN, it is an excellent answer.

"Usually switching the pc off then on does the trick but it's quite annoying,"

So ENSURE Fast Start-Up is DISABLED.

PWR and LID.png

DONT HAVE fast start-up CHECKED/TICKED.
