HP ProDesk 600 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using a "generic KVM switch" in a lab environment to allow three different computers access from one keyboard, one mouse, one monitor. Fairly simple stuff.  Two computers are Intel NUC, the third is HP ProDesk 600 G2.

The issue is when the HP is rebooted or restarted, the video hangs at sleep screen with no keyboard or mouse input. HP Power switch remains on bright with occasional flashes from drive indicator, ethernet cable led active, KVM indicates active connection.

My workaround has been to disconnect the USB cable from the HP box to the KVM during reboot or power cycle, then plug it back in when desktop login screen is visible. From this point forward all works flawlessly. This is not only annoying but keeps the computer off line if nobody around to re-establish the USB connection.

Yes, I have the latest BIOS and latest chipset drivers installed on the HP box.  I may have missed a setting in the BIOS but I surely do not know where. From what I have gleaned from other forums so far, I am not the first to experience this anomaly with the HP ProDesk 600 G2.
