Loud Alarm on new computer upon waking up from hibernate

HP Recommended

This is happening to my with my Envy 27 all in one.  The alarm sounds when I power up the computer.  I can tell the fan is on because there is airflow coming out of the top of the computer (the monitor).  It has two different very loud tones that are spaced a few seconds apart.

Suggestions, please?

That probably is caused by the motherboard detecting an "overheating" condition, despite the air-flow you have detected.

Turn the computer off. Leave it off.

If the HP Warranty still is valid, Contact HP, to open a claim against the warranty, to get it fixed, for free.

If the HP Warranty has expired, HP will still fix it, but for a fee.

Or, if the HP Warranty has expired, take it to any computer technician, for professional trouble-shooting & repait.

If you have to ask "what is this sound", you should not be trying to disassemble the All-In-One, to try to fix it -- too complicated.

Power-off the computer.

Disconnect the AC power.

Press-and-hold the ON/OFF button for 15 seconds.

Reconnect the AC power.

Power-on the computer.

Does it still "beep", or does it start-up normally?
