PC keeps locking up

800 G3 Mini
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

We have a brand new 800 G3 Mini 35W 8GB RAM 256GB SSD drive. It continually locks up at random times. The KB and mouse do not work and nothing responds. The only thing we can do is restart. Sometimes it will go an entire day without issues, and other times it will happen several times throughout the day.

Take it back to where you purchased it, and demand a replacement.

 

Or, assuming that the warranty is still valid, Contact HP, via the hyperlink at the bottom-left of this web-page, and start a warranty claim.

 

If you had purchased a brand-new automobile, and it did not work, would you try to fix it, or would you demand that the automobile dealership fix it?

 

Bad analogy: if you are a newlywed, and have a problem with your spouse, would you return your spouse to his/her parents?   :Wink:
