Power Button

Pavillion P-7118
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

After being reconnected following two weeks of beeing offline and disconnected from power and network, Desktop turns on fine, but power button reamins dark instead of normal blue while in operation. There is a small orange light blinking under what appears to be a small logo of three stacked discs.to the left of the power button.

Desktop shuts down normally and blinking small orange light goes out until restart.

Restart is normal, computer appears to operate normally but still no expected blue light indicating power is on.

What is going on?
