HP 2009m
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I was using the computer just fine yesterday. I turned it on today and the monitor displays a message saying no DVI signal, no VGA signal. I have search this online and unplugged everything. I have plugged everything back in.  It's still not working....

Run three tests:

  1. your monitor, connected to your computer
  2. your monitor, connected to a friend's desktop or laptop
  3. your computer, connected to your friend's monitor

Which test(s) work, and which test(s) fail?

Run two more tests:

  1. if your computer currently has an add-in graphics adapter, superceding the "integrated" graphics, remove the add-in adapter, and connect your monitor to the "integrated" port,
  2. if your computer currently does not have an add-in graphics adapter, connect an add-in adapter, to supercede the "integrated" graphics, and connect your monitor to the add-in adapter

Pass? Fail?
