disable onboard Intel video

HP Recommended
HP EliteDesk 800 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to disable onboard video and add a GPU for gaming.  Cannot find VGA options in BIOS.  Motherboard will not recogize NVIDIA GTX GPU.  Can I write a custom BIOS with utility to disable onboard video and recognize PCIe GPU?  I am running the GPU on it's own separate 500W power supply.

If/when your motherboard recognizes an add-in graphics adapter, it will automatically disable the onboard video.

Older motherboards may not support the newest graphics adapters.
