problem in sleep and power light

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion Power Desktop 580-0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

the device does not sleep the screen tourn off after it passes the period of time that it had been set to however the system does not go to sleep mode after passing the period that the device should go to sleep mode after and after i leave the device for hours the power switch light that show the status of the device (on , off ,sleep) tourn off

however if i move the mouse the screen tourn on again and the device is worling with no probems and without the login screen that show after awaken a pc from sleeping mode and the light stay off even if the pc is working

i tried to use default setting and reset bios default setting however that did not solve the problem

and after the light swich off it does not go on again even f i estart the system or switch off then on the pc

the only way to make it work again (the light not the pc the pc work with no problem even though it does no go to sleep mode ) is to disconnect the power from th wall and reconnect it again

Hi

Thank you for the help

I tried all the solutions that you sent however that did not solve my problem

I think that the problem started after the last bios update

Thanks for your quick response.

Well, in this case, try updating all other drivers from below link,

Thanks for your responses

In that case, can you try downgrading windows/ Windows Recovery/ Windows reset. If not, try BIOS recovery. Please find the below link for the procedures,

BIOS Recovery - https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04126730

Windows 10 - https://support.hp.com/in-en/topic/windows-10-support-center-computing

Hope this works well for you.
