secure boot violation

I am having the same problem except I cannot get the bios to save ANY changes I make so I can't boot from dvd/CD or flash drive. Also there's no flash option so I can upgrade the bios as I understand it's an executable file? I've contacted hp 20 times and they were either rude and hung up or they wanted me to pay a 1 time fee with no guarantee. It's pretty frustrating. Thanks in advance for any help!
