What are you trying to do -- Login or recover data from the drive?

Hallo  and thanks already for your reply,

When I start up my desktop, the only little blue screen I see is where my START-UP PASSWORD is requested. I I wonder how this is happening. I never used a (bios ?) password whatsoever. So, after 3 (wrong) inputs, nothing moves anymore !!!???

No tab combinations for accessing the bios, no error code, simply nothing !!??

I'm only interested in recovering both the (original) hdd and a clone copy of my other pc which also isn't accessible since I swithed the built-in hdd.

So, 'only' (hm, hm) the bios password is missing, but i'm afraid getting this  would be a miracle ?
