At initial start-up a sound of 3 long and 3 short signals is given from my new desktop. Any ideas of a quick fix or do I need to go back to the store?

did you do anything in particular, like a part replacement, an upgrade, an update?

It could be a video card problem, but it could be something else, there are a lot of documents, but it doesn't always match:
