I am needing to change a motherboard in a HP 500-b23w desktop computer. The motherboard that is in the computer is model number 721891-001 REV 0E. But the one I found to buy is a 721891-001 REV 0M. Can this be changed to it without having to reinstalling the OS becasue of different chipset drivers or anything that may be different between the 2 boards? Also the new board comes with the CPU already installed.

yes the board(s) are compatable it's just that one of them has had minor changes to the board componet's or layout
and as such has a diffrent (new) revision number while the main part number stays unchanged
