Operating System: Linux

Just purchased used HP840 and can not enable VT-x virtualization options under Advanced->System Security in the BIOS, all options there are greyed out with settings as follows : VT-x : disabled, VTd: disabled,  TXT: enabled.  Without VT-x enabled VirtualBox will not run.  I've updated to latest firmware and BIOS versions and reset CMOS with no changes  Any guidance on how to enable those options to be modified would be appreciated.
