Product: HP Pavilion Power Desktop - 580-015na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. there seems to be a bit of confusion around the maximum RAM capability for this model. Specs state that the max is 16GB, but  when I run a command prompt, it states that max is 32GB. I'm not really sure which to trust, so if somebody who knows for certain, can help me out, I'd be very grateful. Regards, Jax

Hello
The answer is simple
you have what is tested approved by HP, for a specific motherboard model!
Then you have what is generally supported by the processor / motherboard
Sometimes it is therefore possible to add more memory than mentioned, but it does not always work!
anyway for a majority of users, 16 GB is more than enough

installing 32 GB of memory with the original graphics card, the original hard drive, is not necessarily the best thing to do!
