HP Pavilion Power Desktop - 580-023w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a new case for my pc everything but the 2 front USB 3.0 ports work. They appear to not be getting power. The weird part is the 2 front USB 2.0 ports are. To me it is acting like the standard usb ports are being seen as the USB 3.0 ports and the USB 3.0 ports are not registering.

Side note - the usb 3.0 ports on the motherboard do work as they should.

I have tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them.

Tried powering off and on with only the USB 3.0 ports being used.

PLEASE HELP

@Diabetus -- for your new case, check the front USB 3 sockets. Trace to the back of those sockets, to ensuare that the cable from the back is connected to a USB 3 socket on the motherboard, not to a USB 2 socket on the motherboard.
