HP Pavilion TP01-0004nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

The HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-0004nf has already two drives: 1 SSD + 1 SATA Hard drive

Is it possible to add a 2nd SATA hard drive ?

It is written in the product description that 2 ports for 3.5" are available

Thanks,

Manu

@Mmanu,

There is a 2x2 power header on the motherboard for hard drive power.  From this a cable run to power your existing SATA hard drive.  There should be a spare SATA power connector on that cable.  Somewhere on that cable there should be a part number decal.  Please be kind, and report back your findings. I would like to know the part number.

@Wb2001,

Indeed in the middle of the power cable to the 1st SATA hard drive, there is a spare power connector.

And by adding a SATA cable (non existing) on the mother board, it is possible to add a 2nd SATA hard drive.

Hi Wb2001,

If I understand well what you want, here is the reference I see on the power cable:

HP P/N: L68308 - 001 RevA
