I am fairly certain my P/S took a dump. It says it uses a standard ATX power supply, but the one I bought doesn't have the two 4 pin connectors on the motherboard. The P/S I bought is modular, can you get a cable to fit these?

The former HP Expert on power supplies told me again and again that HP always uses custom power supplies, so you can't just stick one in that fits and expect it to work. I am surprised "it" says something different.
As to the question, if the PSU vendor sells extra cables, then you should get them -- but if it were me, I would send this back and look for another PSU -- one that has the same cables as the one you are replacing.
